Meshwell Prints is a new wedding stationery design & print studio. Our focus is on fun, vibrant screen printed wedding invitations that are designed and handcrafted in-house.

We believe your wedding should be a celebration of you, the couple! Our goal is for guests to open their invites and know who it’s for before they’ve even read the names.

We use traditional Screen Printing techniques so every single invitation is printed by hand, a one-off piece you’ll want to have and hold forever! 

SO WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING?

Screen printing or silkscreen printing is a process of pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen with a squeegee to create a printed design. It’s an effective technique for printing on fabrics & textiles, but can also be used to create bold, vibrant paper artwork

WHY CHOOSE SCREEN PRINTING?

One of the benefits of screen printing is the vivid colours it produces, which are quite tricky to replicate with other printing techniques.

Screen printing ink is typically applied more thickly, resulting in longer-lasting, brighter and more vibrant colours, even on darker backgrounds.

Unlike digital printing which absorbs ink creating a flat surface, screen printing ink lies in layers on the surface of the paper which gives a subtle, pleasing tactile quality.

MEET THE DESIGNER

Hi! I’m Fiona, designer and founder of Meshwell Prints. Originally from Sydney, Australia I’ve worked in the graphic design and stationery industry since moving to London in 2016.

Meshwell Prints was started as a way to combine a love of illustration, a desire to work one-on-one with clients and also as a way to work hands on, beyond a computer screen. I’m excited to meet you and hear about your vision!
